D+2 fire protection element

The Aestuver® D+2 fire protection element was specially developed for escape and rescue routes in underground transportation facilities. Our cement-bonded, glass fiber-reinforced lightweight concrete panels in sandwich construction are ideal for absorbing dynamic loads.

Aestuver® D+2 fire protection element

Walk-on element designed to sustain dynamic loads. It used as a fire- resistant cable-troughs cover providing easy access for maintenance or replacement of wooden planks on access and rescue routes in the rail area.
  • Sandwichboards as protection against concrete damage caused by fires in in outside and inside transportation facilities
  • Proof of water resistance and frost/thaw resistance
  • Durable and load bearing under traffic loads (permissible load of up to 12.5 kN/m²)
  • Low weight makes installation and repair quick and uncomplicated
  • Abrasion-resistant and easy to clean

With proof of water resistance and frost/thaw resistance, they offer a wide range of possible applications: e.g. as a fire-resistant cable tray cover, which significantly simplifies maintenance, or as a durable and fire-safe replacement for existing wooden planks in escape and rescue routes
